Bentley won the toss and put us into bat first and Hritik, who was captain for today's game, and George Grevatt got us off to a great start, taking our score onto 220. One of the aims today was to improve our running between the wickets and every pair worked hard at this. Max and Priyan took our score on to 237 and good batting and running between the wickets from Oliver and William, Hayden and Christiaan kept the score moving on and a few boundaries from the final pair of Joshua and Braden took us to a total of 280.
Bentley got off to a good start but 2 wickets for Priyan and one each for Oliver and Hayden pegged them back and there was too much to do for the final pair.
We had worked on being sharper in the field and trying to walk in with every ball, which, along with the running between the wickets, showed good improvement from the previous game.
