Turning up at Brentwood a lovely sunny day, we had 31 players and only 2 teams arriving to play us as Bentley U11 were unable to play. Springfield and Bentley U9 agreed to play longer games to let everyone have a game. One game was 24 overs and the other 30 overs. Four of our players kindly played for Bentley to even up the teams. I think not only was the play excellent, the spirits were high, parents were happy and everyone had a great game. Some excellent performances from both sides.
