Team: Jacob Knightbridge, Hritik Kapoor, Dylan Taker, Archie Van Klink, Jack Haynes, Harry Larner, Spencer Taker, George Mortlock, Braden Doyle, Sam Sandle, Ben Dixon and Charlie Yardy.
Our captain, Spencer Taker, won the toss for Brentwood, putting Stock into bat first. Jacob opened the bowling and took the first wicket with his 5th ball and had a maiden second over. There has been such an improvement with our bowling over the few weeks we have been playing. Everyone played their part this evening. Our youngest player, Charlie, after some tips from Jacob, took his first wicket and had a great second over - well done Charlie - keep practising at home! Braden - fantastic bowling tonight and well done on taking 2 wickets. Ben - another good spell of bowling and well done on taking a wicket! Spencer had a great spell as wicket keeper in the first half of the game, and also two very good overs taking a wicket as well. Sam went into bat first as feeling a bit under the weather, but it didn't show as he hit three boundaries! Well done Sam - hope you are feeling better. Harry and Jack - brilliant partnership tonight. Running between the wickets was great and you notched up 34 between you - well done! Another good pair was Dylan and Archie - no wickets lost and scored 20 runs between you - well done to you two. Hritik - you got to bowl three overs, all very good and your batting was great, scoring a couple of boundaries too! George also had a very good spell in the second half as our wicket keeper - not much got past you! Just wanted to mention Jacob - as well as batting and bowling well, you set the field and in particular you helped a lot of the younger players, giving them tips during the game, so very well done.
