Graeme Swann to play for Lashings in 2014

Lashings All Stars, who Brentwood buccaneers are scheduled to play on Friday 11th July this year, have recently announced the signing of Graeme Swann for the season.
Swann, who controversially announced his retirement in December midway through the disappointing Ashes series, is set to go from 'lashing' his team mates to appearing for Lashings. Swann is the perfect addition to the Maidstone-based side, blending world class talent with wit, good humour and the charismatic personality that Lashings are renowned for. Everyone at Brentwood Cricket Club is hopeful that Swann will relish the challenge of coming to the Old County Ground to pit himself against a side who have pushed his new team to the wire in the three years that the fixture has been going.
Lashings have also added the likes of Matthew Hoggard MBE, Owais Shah and Dirk Nannes to an already star-studded line up so whilst it is too early to say who will represent them on the day it is certain to be a strong side. It is a game not to be missed.
For more information on how you can get to meet the players or how you can reserve a table for the lunch on the day please get in touch with the club through the contact page on this site.
