U11 Indoor League Champions Again!!

Brentwood won the toss and decided to bat first, but due to, in particular, some very good fielding from Hutton, we were bowled out for 95 with 5 balls of the allotted 12 overs still remaining. Henry Deacon and Ollie Cohen got Brentwood off to an excellent start with 25 and 24 respectively but a few quick wickets slowed the progress with Jacob Knightbridge scoring 15 at the end, in an effort to push towards a defendable, but not massive, target.
However, an excellent all round bowling and fielding display, including taking a wicket first ball of the Hutton innings, meant that although Hutton were not bowled out they were always slightly behind the run chase and ended up 20 runs short of the target. Jacob Knightbridge took two wickets, PJ an important catch, William Reed kept well and importantly let no byes go through and Ethan Norris saved two certain fours in the penultimate over with some athletic fielding to ensure that, along with Freddie Wise supporting from the side, everyone contributed to the win.
Congratulations goes to the whole squad including Aston Leaver, Sam Sandle and Daniel Gir, who unfortunatly could not make the final, all of whom have contributed fully to another successful U11 indoor season:
Simon Knightbridge.
