U16 Matchplay semi-final on Sunday

Brentwood’s Under-16s have reached the semi-finals of the Essex Matchplay Shield where they will play Loughton on Sunday 20th August at Billericay CC.
We reached this stage with a 96-run win over Bancroft Lions on Monday. Brentwood batted first and scored an impressive 262-9 in their 40 overs, with contributions all down the order, Henry Deacon top-scoring with 61. Bancroft Lions were all out for 166, with Jack Levy, Sajjan Sra, James Jensen and Ollie Cohen taking two wickets apiece.
Sunday’s match starts at 12 noon.
